New player's guide
Never played Luminous Horizons? Start here. In a few minutes you'll have a character, be standing in the fallen city, and know how to fight, talk, and survive. No download — it all runs in your browser.
Click Play and you'll choose a name, an ancestry (your people — human, centaur, pixie, and more) and a class (your path — warrior, mage, ranger, cleric…). Your ancestry shapes your body and innate traits; your class decides how you fight and what you'll learn.
Compare all 17 classes and 15 ancestriesYou arrive in Kuprek — a city the horde overran at dusk. The view is top-down and your character sits at the center of it. Click anywhere to walk there. Explore a little: doorways, taverns, and side-streets all lead somewhere.
The interface, explainedThe streets aren't safe. Click an enemy to attack it — you'll trade blows automatically, and your action bar holds the spells and skills your class has learned. Watch your health bar; if a fight turns bad, run. Where your hits land actually matters here, so aim for the vitals.
How combat worksThe survivors who remain will actually talk back — just type to speak near them. Be kind, be threatening, ask questions; they remember how you treat them, and a charming word can earn you more than a blade. Og the ogre bartender is a good first conversation.
NPCs & charismaAdventuring isn't the only way to live. Claim a patch of land, plant crops through the seasons, fish the deep waters, and cook or craft what you gather. It's a quieter life between the battles — and a profitable one.
Farming cooking & craftingKuprek is dangerous alone. Group up with other players, follow a leader, and take on what you couldn't handle solo — or buy a loyal pet to fight at your side.
Groups & following petsThe rest you'll learn by living it. The wiki is always there when you want to go deeper.
